Lakeshore Learning ad shows these transparencies over a MagnaDoodle for children to trace letters. I see that I can make my own, by printing outlined letters on PowerPoint, and photocopy them onto transparencies, which can be used on our current MagnaDoodle.

I went on the web to search for Outline Fonts, and had a hard time finding the appropriate ones. Turns out that Outline style is basic only to Mac, not PC. For PC, outline fonts means vector graphics, and hence this default meaning makes search online much harder.

Solution: Print normal fonts. Photocopy using very light color. Then we can print it on transparencies for children to trace. Reprint at http://tech-spirits.com/content/view/46/2/.
